I was raised up in smalltown Illinois between two creeks that overflowed and flooded much of our little community each spring which increased our local mosquito population by a million fold. It was said by the old timers that Orville Wright once visited our small town and after being carried off by one of these humongous creatures received a brilliant idea and it wasn’t long after he returned home that the people in our little community heard that he had invented something called a flying machine that flew just about as far the first time as that mosquito carried him that day. The times have changed somewhat since that time and the flying machine has been improved upon, but our little community is stilled nestled in between those two creeks and the mosquitoes still multiply exponentially each spring.
